Forty Days of Prayer: Day Twenty Six

Please join us in today’s prayer, written by a member of ACFW’s Forty Days of Prayer team.

First-time attendees
Philippians 4:6–Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Father, we bring all the first time conference attendees before You. Calm their hearts and soothe their worried thoughts. Flood them with Your peace and meet them at conference. Father, we know Your plans for us are good, and we ask You to make that assurance real to those traveling to conference for the first time. Woo them. Change them. Lead them. Guide them. Soothe them. And embrace them. May they leave the conference changed, encouraged, and with direction.

Open the right doors and close the doors they aren’t meant to travel through. Guide them to people who they can connect with. Other writers who understand how they thing and the journey they walk. Connect them to those they can help.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
