Forty Days of Prayer: Day 5

Please join us in today’s prayer, written by a member of ACFW’s Forty Days of Prayer team.

Travel safeties

Psalm 121:3b-4–He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Lord Jesus, as we travel from our homes to Indianapolis for the conference this year please watch over us. Protect us from known and unpredictable dangers. May your very presence be right beside us in every car, every airplane, every train and every bus. I pray that you will guard us against mechanical failures, time delays, tired drivers and pilots, traffic jams and missed connections. I pray for pleasant traveling companions, uplifting conversations with seat mates, congenial carpools and good Christian fellowship that washes away anxiety and replaces it with new and deeper friendships. Thank you, Lord, for your protection, and wisdom as we travel to the conference and back home. Thank you for being our guide and comfort in unfamiliar surroundings. And, most of all, thank you for traveling with us. Amen.
