2015 ACFW CONFERENCE 40 DAYS OF PRAYER
DAY 14 PRAYER – TOPIC: THE ACFW CHOIR AS THEY PREPARE FOR THE SATURDAY GALA
Psalm 66:1-2 – Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the ACFW choir, for the musical abilities You have given them, for their desire to lift their voices to You in praise, and for their willingness to lead us in worship. Guide the choir director in choosing the songs for the event. Fill the choir with Your Spirit as they practice and prepare for the conference. Search them and test their motives; create in them clean hearts and willing spirits. Surround their rehearsal time with Your presence. Anoint them as they exalt You and bless the sound of their praises. Let their songs of prayer be sweet incense rising to You.
May everyone who attends the Saturday Gala join the choir and proclaim Your great love and may the room overflow with praise for You. Let those gathered in Your name rejoice, let us be glad in Your presence and let us be filled with hope. May our raised hands be our evening prayers as we sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to You with our hearts. May we sing to You a new song because it is good, delightful and fitting to sing out our thanks to You, O Lord!
