AirplanePsalm 121:3b-4–He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Our Gracious Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your promise that You are ever vigilant. We know You will watch over each person traveling to the conference. We praise You for Your limitless power and the way You care about the details of our lives.

Lord, we ask for safe travels for conference goers. For those who may be flying for the first time or those who find flying stressful or scary, we ask Your peace—that peace that surpasses all understanding. Please ease the tensions that come with traveling alone, managing baggage, and being away from home. We ask that You would be with the families we leave behind, that they would know Your presence and Your care.

And Lord, we ask for your traveling mercies for those coming to the conference by car. You know down to the last cent what gas prices will be and where the money to pay for it will come from. We ask for Your hand on the vehicles used, and if it be Your will, that there would be no accidents or mechanical failures. We ask for your protection for the drivers, and that You would help them navigate the roads and highways that may be unfamiliar to them, especially those in the big cities. Please prepare the way, smooth the bumps, and straighten out the curves that might pop up in driving to the conference.

Father, we pray also that those who are car-pooling will enjoy sweet fellowship. Please help personalities to mesh, for strangers to become friends, and above all that the words said and actions taken will glorify You.

Thank You again for Your promise to be on guard for us, and that You never fall asleep.

Because of Christ,

Amen
