ACFW members unable to attend conference

Jeremiah 29:11–For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

Dear Lord,

You know the desire to attend the ACFW conference is great in each member’s heart. But for some, You have chosen to close this door, and disappointment weighs heavily on them. I pray, Lord, for your peace that passes all understanding to cover them. May they take to heart the knowledge that You do have a plan and purpose for their lives, even this seemingly closed door. Nothing catches You unaware or goes unnoticed. I pray they will each understand at this particular time, You have something else for them to do. That each one will remember that all things happen in Your perfect timing.

For each one who desperately wants to attend and can’t, there is a reason, often known only to You. A reason they may never know or understand this side of heaven. It could be for some, opportunities will open which would be missed if they were in St. Louis. For others, it may be that family members will need comfort and support. Whatever the reason, You have their life in the palm of Your hand, and You have not forgotten them. And neither have we.
