Please join us in today’s prayer, written by a member of ACFW’s Forty Days of Prayer team.

For Conference Veterans
Psalm 18:2 “The Lord is my Rock and my Fortress and my Deliverer, my God, my Rock, in whom I take refuge…

Father God, many of us attending this year’s conference have been here before. We’re familiar with how things work. We know a bit of what to expect. Now we pray that You would give us hearts and minds that are open to Your Spirit touching us in new ways.

Lord, we’re also looking forward to seeing old friends again, smiling and laughing with them, sharing the stories of how You continue to bless us. Now we ask that you would give us the opportunity to meet and make new friends as well, especially those who are feeling lonely and lost. Put us in situations where we can help others.

Remind us, O God, that You are continuing to carry out Your plans for us through each conference that we attend. Open our eyes to see how You work on us and in us and through us and with us according to Your good and gracious will. As You have been with us in the past, we know that You will always be with us through each endeavor and every day. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
