Cynthia Ruchti
As ACFW's president, Cynthia Ruchti forges relationships with members of the publishing industry and enjoys helping other writers develop their craft. Her debut novel, They Almost Always Come Home, releases in spring 2010 with Abingdon Press. In addition to her fiction career, Cynthia also writes and produces a popular radio show, "The Heartbeat of the Home," which airs on 16 stations across the country. She also edits Backyard Friends Magazine, a 20-page, bi-annual publication that reaches 5,000 homes and churches nationwide. Cynthia celebrates 37 years of marriage with her high school sweetheart, three grown children, and five grandchildren. She is the assistant director and a faculty member of the Quad Cities Christian Writers Conference, has served as worship and devotions staff for the Write-to-Publish conference, and teaches at other conferences as opportunities arise. Rebecca Yauger
As ACFW's vice president and very first membership director, Rebecca Yauger has felt blessed to witness ACFW's growth from a small organization in 2004 to the nearly 2000 member-strong writer's organization it is today. When she is not working to complete her first novel, Rebecca writes articles and stories for publications like Guideposts Magazine, Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Cancer Book and Chicken Soup for the Soul: Celebrating Mothers and Daughters. Once she completes her first novel, Rebecca hopes to write a screenplay, and is brainstorming children's book ideas with her husband. Rebecca lives with her husband in the Dallas/Ft. Vickie McDonough
Vickie McDonough has been an ACFW member since 2001. From co-founding ACFW’s first chapter in 2005, to serving as ACFW’s critique group coordinator, Vickie brings 12 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience to her position as treasurer. A true bookkeeper, Vickie uses Excel to plan out the plot of her novels. An accomplished author of more than 23 historical fiction and contemporary romance novels, Vickie makes her home in Tulsa, Okla. with her husband of 34 years.

Sharon A. Lavy
Instrumental in forming ACFW’s Ohio chapter, Sharon A. Lavy’s devoted service has not gone unnoticed. Sharon’s dedication to both the Ohio and Indiana chapters was recognized in 2008, when she received the Membership Service Award. A former chapter president and online course director, Sharon’s leadership skills will be put to use tracking her fellow ACFW members as membership director. When she is not writing or attending ACFW meetings, Sharon spends her time with her husband on their sod farm in New Carlisle, OH.

Margaret Daley
Margaret Daley is an award winning, multi-published author in the romance genre and is the volunteer officer for ACFW. While she has written for a number of secular publishers, Margaret felt compelled to follow her faith and passion to the Christian romance market, and currently writes inspirational romance and romantic suspense books for Steeple Hill's Love Inspired and Love Inspired Suspense series. Randy Ingermanson is the author of six novels, which include two Christy award winners Transgression and Oxygen. Rachel Hauck has come a long way in her writing career, from her earliest writings of a girl and her pony at age 10, to bestselling author of contemporary fiction.
