"I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me." Phil 4:13
Minneapolis, Minnesota September 18 - 21, 2008
BOOK STORE
Notice: For those attending the conference, you can download the list of books that will be available. The PDF document will be available on August 1st.
ACFW is pleased to partner with Barnes & Noble for the Conference Bookstore this year. If you will attend the conference and would like to have your books, both fiction and non-fiction that are in compliance with the main beliefs of the organization, sold in the bookstore, you will need to submit the information on those books no later than August 1, 2008. Earlier is better because we will have more time to confirm whether Barnes & Noble can obtain the books from one of their distributors.
All books sold during the conference and book-signing event must be sold through the bookstore, not at the signing tables.
The Bookstore Coordinator reserves the right to refuse to sell any books that conflict with CBA or ACFW principles.
Selling books at the ACFW Conference Bookstore
Please email Cara Putman at books@acfw.com with the following information immediately after you complete your online registration:
Book titles you wish to sell at the conference along with the ISBN, publisher, and release date for each book.
Whether you wish to participate in the book signing on Saturday. September 20th from 1-3 p.m. at the Mall of America.
Your name as you wish it to appear on the book signing place card.
We must have this information by August 1, 2008 if you want to have your books included in the bookstore and if you wish to participate in the book signing. The earlier you provide the information, the sooner Barnes & Noble can confirm whether it can obtain the requested books. Barnes & Noble is likely unable to stock self-published or print-on-demand books. If you would like information on being added to their small-press system, please contact Cara at books@acfw.com.
The bookstore will open on Thursday, September 20 beginning with registration. Barnes & Noble will stock and staff the store. There will be opportunities for ACFW volunteers to help man the store.
If you or your publisher would like to donate books for giveaways and door prizes, please contact Cara Putman at books@acfw.com, and we will make arrangements to receive those books.
The bookstore will close Saturday afternoon.
Should you have any questions regarding the Conference Bookstore, please contact Cara Putman at books@acfw.com.
