2008 ACFW GENESIS Entry Form

Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PST, February 29th, 2008

Persons desiring to enter the 2008 GENESIS Contest should fill out the form below in full. Before beginning, please be sure that you have read through the GENESIS Rules and the FAQ pages and reviewed the formatting article.

All entries are being handled electronically this year, so you should have the chapter you intend to submit in a .doc file ready to send. You will be asked to upload that file at the end of this form and it will be forwarded to the appropriate Category Coordinator along with your application.

After filling out this form, you will be taken to a payment page where you may choose how you would like to pay for your GENESIS entry. If you have any problems during the course of the application process, please e-mail webmaster@acfw.com for assistance. Thank you!

I, as author of this novel, have read and understood the rules of this contest and agree to abide by the final decision of its judges and the contest committee. I certify that I have been unpublished in novel length fiction within the last seven years and that the manuscript I submit is my own original work. I agree not to use comments given by a judge for publicity or submission purposes without the express consent of the judge.

Upload the chapter you are submitting to the contest by clicking the browse button below and selecting the file from your desktop. Your file should be named with the full title of your book to distinguish it from other entries. (Please avoid general titles such as "chapter1.doc".) The file name should not contain spaces or unusual characters. An underscore "_" or dash "-" can serve as a space if necessary.

Please take a moment to review the information above and ensure that it is complete and correct. This form will serve as your official entry form to the GENESIS Contest and all information is necessary and required.
