THE LAST 10% - Beyond workshops and critique groups lays the tricky territory of a novel that is essentially done. This intensive workshop teaches the master techniques of novelists at the third draft stage.
This is an intensive, hands-on workshop. Participants should bring a WIP and writing materials.
Lisa Rector is a late stage story development editor in New York. She specializes in third draft woes, sagging middles and what is often the final and most elusive 10% required pre-publication - what works in a manuscript, what doesn’t and why.
Lisa has helped authors attain deals with Tor/MacMillan, Berkley Prime Crime and others. She teaches advanced fiction and editing techniques at conferences worldwide, is the founder of the Lisa Rector Young Writers’ Scholarship and author of the upcoming book The Third Draft.
You must be 18 years old to attend conference without a parent/guardian present with you at all times.
