Day 11 – Topic: That we mourn with those who mourn
Romans 12:15b– . . . and weep with those who weep.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the opportunity we have to attend the ACFW conference where we can learn and improve our craft. For some of us the conference experience will be exhilarating and marvelous. Others will be discouraged and disheartened by the information and feedback they receive, or overwhelmed with how much they have to learn.
Give us the compassion to feel the sorrow of those who are suffering and the words to comfort those who need a word from You through us. May we be able to see beyond ourselves and reach out to the hurting.
You have brought us all to this time and place for your purposes. Open our eyes to see that Your design is far greater than any we could conceive for ourselves and help us be available for Your use.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
