Day 17 Prayer – Clarity of Speech for Those Pitching Projects
“I have the strength for everything through Him who empowers me.”
Philippians 4:13
Dear Heavenly Father, as the ACFW National Conference approaches, we ask for wisdom and grace for those who will be meeting with editors and agents. We pray You will guide them as they prepare their materials, one-sheets, and proposals. May they feel Your presence, peace, and aid as they offer their pitches. Help them to be clear and articulate in their presentations and assist them in remembering all the many details they have organized and practiced. Remind them that the editors and agents, themselves believers, are friendly and approachable people who want the best for every attendee at the conference. We are grateful for Your constant presence in our lives, oh Lord, and we lay all of our fearfulness and anxiety at Your feet, knowing we can call on Your strength in our weakness. Because of Your leading, we are in this place, at this time, and we praise You, praying in the holy name of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
