Proverbs 2:6–For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Lord, we come to you praying for guidance and wisdom for the presenters of the Spotlight Sessions. We pray they will be refreshed to review many cold facts or hard truths with compassion and enlightenment. Help them to encourage the writers that, whether or not their company’s service fits their calling, God will complete His calling on their lives.
Father, we thank you for those who have inspired and mentored these speakers and for their willingness to serve you as mentors to the conference attendees.
Despite challenges in life and in the publishing world, we thank you for your unchanging character and trust you to give the presenters your wisdom. May the words they share today be your words, so that they may inspire writers to embrace life’s challenges and thoughtfully utilize the gifts and talents you have given them for your glory.
