Day 5

Topic: Travel safeties

Psalm 121:3b-4–He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you and praise you for all the amazing ACFW attendees who will be traveling to St Louis in September. So many journey great distances to be there. I lift each and every one of them up to you today.

For those traveling by car. That their eyes would be keen and the roads would be clear. For protection over those vehicles. That all the parts would function properly so there would be no problems along the way. Keep your hands on the drivers and passengers alike, and also on the drivers around them. Take them to conference safely, Father.

For those traveling by plane. I pray for the pilots, that their eyes would be open. That the skies would be clear and bump free. That the planes would take off and land smoothly. For those who may have a fear of flying, that you would calm their nerves and help them know they are in your hands.

I pray for those few days, Father. Traveling can be stressful, and stress can cause accidents. I just ask that your Spirit would fill each and every attendee, that you would give them peace as they travel. Guide them and direct them. Things don’t always go as planned, but sometimes it is in YOUR plan to delay us, Father. Maybe we miss that green light and avoid an accident, or maybe our flight is delayed and we avoid dangerous skies. Whatever happens, we know Your eyes see all. Thank you for knowing everything so we don’t have to. You do not sleep and you do not slumber. Be the eyes and ears for those on the road and in the skies.

In your precious Son’s holy name I pray. Amen.
