DAY 16 PRAYER – TOPIC: FINALISTS IN THE GENESIS CONTEST
Psalms 135:5-6 NKJV – For I know that the Lord is great and our Lord is above all gods. Whatever the Lord pleases He does in heaven and in earth. In the seas and in all deep places.
Dear Lord of heaven and earth, we thank You for Your sacrifice on the Cross, so that in You we may live and move and have our being. Today we come to lift the Genesis finalists up to You. Please give them Your peace as they wait to find out who won their category. We ask that You prepare their hearts to truly rejoice with the winners and comfort those who did not win, knowing that God loves them all exactly the same. Let the ACFW conference and the Genesis contest be an opportunity of encouragement for them to persevere, growing in knowledge and experience with which to improve their writing. Help them not to get so caught up in the excitement of the moment or be so anxious that they are distracted from the real reason they write. It’s all about You, Lord. Lastly, we request that they, through their writing, continue to glorify You, so that the lost and downtrodden find hope in You. You are great, Lord Jesus, and worthy to be praised. Amen.
