2015 ACFW CONFERENCE 40 DAYS OF PRAYER
DAY 22 PRAYER – TOPIC: FINALISTS IN THE CAROL AWARDS
Father,
Thank You for each of the Carol Aware Finalists. I praise You for the work You’ve done in their lives that have brought them to this place. I know their times are in Your hands, and You have brought these publications to this time for a reason. I ask You to place these manuscripts into the hands for which they were written. I ask You to work in each heart that reads them. I also ask You to encourage each of these writers. As they face the test of character as winner or finalist, they need Your heart. They need Your heart for their writing and to see themselves. I pray each trial they face would bring them to greater maturity in their faith so that You can entrust them with more of You and more responsibility. I ask You to speak what they need to hear, both encouraging and correcting, and I pray You would protect their hearts. I ask You to come against the enemies that would tear down their writing and their purpose. Whether the enemy be fear, discouragement, situational, relational, or spiritual. I ask You to lead them in victory over their enemies. Father, above all things, I pray they would seek You and Your glory. I pray they would find their identity only in You and You would be their peace in all things. Thank You for their obedience. I ask You to bless them. Breathe rich life into them. Lead them in the ways everlasting for Your name’s sake, and be glorified always as their God.
I pray these things in the Almighty name of Jesus. Amen.
