Day 25 – Topic: First-Time Attendees
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Dear Heavenly Father,
New experiences stretch us in many ways. For those attending the ACFW Conference for the first time it will be quite intimidating. Calm their nerves. Meeting some folks we’ve admired from a distance is a perk of attending, but even that comes with stress of its own.
Help the first time attendees enjoy the experience, focus on the task at hand and learn from the best in the business while they can. Guide them to the new friendships and connections that will propel their writing journeys forward for years to come.
Give them the fortitude to send in requested material by agents and editors when possible. And most of all draw them closer to you in this adventure of writing stories that bring people closer to you. Help us all build your kingdom while we can.
