2017 ACFW CONFERENCE – 40 DAYS OF PRAYER
DAY 12 – 9/9/17 – THAT WE REJOICE WITH THOSE WHO REJOICE
Romans 12:15 – Rejoice with those who rejoice. (ESV).
Father God, we lean on You to stir within us a spirit of rejoicing when others get the appointment we thought we needed, when editors and agents show excitement for someone else’s project, when awards go to others rather than to us, when You lay answers in other authors’ laps. We invite You to mold our character and fill us with Your Spirit, so rejoicing over others’ victories will seem not only natural but automatic. Help us to not only rejoice FOR but WITH them, as Your Word instructs. All praise and honor belong to You. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
