The ACFW choir as they prepare for Sunday worship
II Corinthians 5:9–Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the choir that will praise and honor you with the beauty and magnificence of music. Open their hearts and fill them with great joy as they prepare to lift their voices in song to glorify you.
Thank you for their ability to transform notes on paper into melody. Whatever the mood of any piece they set out to sing, inspire them. Surround them with your loving presence and bless them as they practice, preparing, blending their voices to share the miracle of music.
Bless them individually and corporately—the director/conductor, every choir member, from soloist to accompanist, and from soprano to bass. Grant them perfect health and well-being. Make their voices strong. Cover them with your protection, even their vocal cords, that they may fill the air with harmony and the loveliness of song. Grant them peace of heart and mind, that as they give of themselves those they’ve left behind are safely in your loving care.
Bless all who will hear your message through music and who will respond with appreciation to the choir’s God-given talent.
