John 3:34-35–A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Dear Heavenly Father:
May those attending this conference have servant’s hearts toward each other. Help them to see others who need an encouraging word or a friendly greeting. Help them to seek out those who need a helping hand with either luggage, volunteer work, or a comforting hug after a particular hard conference interview or meeting.

May the staff at the hotel and conference grounds see Christ in all with whom they come into contact. May the housekeeping crew be overwhelmed with the kindness attendees show them, care with how the rooms are maintained, and the unselfish ways people encourage them in their jobs.

May new writers be encouraged by the experienced ones and may these new writers be uplifting to editors and agents in attendance.

May everyone see Christ in the way others treat them. Help all the writers in attendance to realize that you are good no matter what happens during this conference.

Encourage those who are discouraged and help those who are encouraged to spread it around. Help everyone to trust in You and all that you have planned for their futures.

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to be servants to those around us.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
