Wisdom in decision making for the Operating and Advisory Board as they meet before the conference.
I Thessalonians 1:2-3–We give thanks to God always for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers.
Father God, we thank you for those individuals who have sacrificed hours of their time, some for many years now, on behalf of ACFW and its membership. We praise you for the strength, wisdom, creativity, and leadership abilities you have gifted each member of both the Operating Board and the Advisory Board, along with their deep love for ACFW. As these people travel to the conference site ahead of the rest of us to meet together, grant them travel mercies. May they arrive in St. Louis well-rested and alert for a day of meetings.
Give our president Margaret Daley wisdom as she conducts the Operating Board meeting and give all of them special wisdom as they make decisions that will affect all of ACFW in the coming days. Then later, as the two boards come together, let there be consensus in decision making as well as wisdom.
Also, Lord, bless each one of these people throughout the conference, allowing for each person to have a blessed experience despite their always being on call and available to meet whatever needs arise.
