The families we leave at home

Romans 8:26 – 27:  In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

Dear Heavenly Father:

Thank You for counting us Your children through the finished work of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is a wonderful thing to be a member of the family of God. I thank You also for the gift of natural family here in this life. There are times when I cannot be present with them in person, and in my finite strength, I cannot protect and provide for them as You are able to do in Your infinite strength and wisdom. According to the invitation of Your Word, I come boldly to the throne of grace and request divine protection, provision, and comfort for my family while I am away at conference. I trust You that the Holy Spirit will inspire any needful prayers or provisions in my absence. Thank You that I have the assurance of peace that You treasure my family members in the palm of Your hand. Knowing that faith pleases You, I refuse to fret or worry for them while I am on assignment from You at the ACFW Conference. I release them to Your care. My heart is light, and I give You all the glory!

In the Precious Name of Jesus,

Amen
