Suzanne Bratcher decided to be a writer after reading a biography of Louisa May Alcott in third grade. When she realized writing wouldn’t pay the rent, she pursued a teaching certificate in English. In spite of her many accomplishments, Suzanne realized she would never be able to teach and write long fiction. She left her job to write full time. She continued to publish freelance articles, and in June of 2017, her debut novel was published.
